SARTopo is a map tool designed to be used by first responders to plan and execute searches.
SARTopo is based on CALTOPO but with additional tools for Search and Rescue.

The follow is a list of procedures using SAR Topo that a member needs competency in to perform duties while on a mission.
Team Invite
In order to use the Team SARTopo account, you need to be invited. One of the members with admin privileges will send you an invitation by email with a link. Follow these steps to activate your team account:
- Download SARTopo (SARTopo.com or app store) onto your mobile phone.
- Create a SARTopo account. The free account is all that is needed.
- Sign in to SARTopo.
- Open the invite email from the administrator and click on the link.
You should be able to access the full team features of SARTopo!
Initial Mission Response
When a mission page is received, and you are ready to leave home or work for the mission, initiate SARTopl to the proper map and start self-location.
